Free information magazine for local parents!

ABC Magazine - the local publication for parents - is available free to pick up across six counties in the South of England. Much more than your average parenting magazine, each issue of ABC is valid for four months and is a reference magazine rather than a pick-up-throw-away publication.

Following on from the successful launch of ABC Magazine in Sussex in 1996, this quality magazine, for parents by parents, is now available in Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Hampshire.

With a current combined print run of 132,000 copies ABC is a welcome departure from local, freebie "postcode publications" which prior to ABC, had been the only source of local information for parents. Each issue of ABC has a maximum ratio of 40% advertising to 60% well-researched, generic editorial which provides readers with relevant information rather than pages of advertising simply pasted together in a haphazard way.

Each edition is individually run on a franchise basis. All potential franchisees are interviewed extensively before they are accepted onto the comprehensive training programme. The ABC Head Office also enforces a rigorous company compliance policy that ensures all editions follow the same high quality, reader-friendly magazine style.

Currently the spring 2013 issue of ABC Magazine is out and about, valid from the 1st March through to the 1st July 2013. Our summer issue is published on the 1st July valid until 1st November when our winter issue will take its place, valid from 1st November through to the 1st March 2014.

Alternatively, ABC Magazine is available to pick up from libraries, hospitals, baby clinics, playgroups, shops and selected supermarkets.
