Cover positions

Full colour CMYK high res. EPS or PDF/X-1a artwork only. Full A4 page (297mm high x 210mm wide), centred, with no crops, a 3mm bleed all round and a 5mm gutter on the inside edge.
Complete digital artwork as a PDF (to PDF/X-1a standard) or EPS only can be accepted. No film or bromides.
CMYK artwork only. No other colourspace, no specials/spots colours or Pantones are acceptable.
Embedded images should be at least 300dpi at 100% size.
All fonts/typefaces must be embeddded in PDF's and the text converted to outlines in EPS's.
Where colour critical images are used, please supply a high quality proof such as a Chromalin to help our printer ensure accurate colour reproduction.
Please name your file(s) lucidly using no more than 32 characters including spaces. Do not use MS Dos characters such as '/' or '@' as they can truncate the filename and cause problems.
Any supplied files and disc media must be Mac compatible

Artwork Delivery

Post: We accept Mac-Formatted CD's or DVD's only. Floppy discs are not accepted. Please supply a hard copy colour proof with all digital files

E-mail: The maximum total file size of all attachments in any one E-mail must not exceed 5Mb. Files larger than this can be delivered to our ftp site. This is available via this link. For any advertisement created in the ABC Studio, we will need:

By Post: A print-out of accurate text, artwork including line-art, logos or maps, should be provided as good quality black and white or full colour print-outs. All photographic images should contain a good degree of contrast.

By Email: An accurate Word document of required text, a Tiff, Jpeg or PDF of any image, photo or logo, roughly to size and at least 300dpi when 100%.

Faxed artwork or text is not acceptable.
If a particular colour is critical a CMYK % breakdown must be supplied.

ABC Studio Artwork Service
Working with logos, images and text (digital or hard copy) supplied by yourselves and working under your instructions we will create three advertisements (A,B and C) for you to choose from.

ABC Studio costs - this is a flat fee depending on the size of the advertisement booked.

Currently, the winter 2008 issue of ABC Magazine is out and about valid from the 1st November through to the 1st March 2009. Our spring issue is published on the 1st March valid until 1st July when our summer issue will take it's place valid from 1st July through to the 1st November.
