Could you run your own ABC Magazine?
As ABC expands into new areas of the UK, we are on the look-out for bright and ambitious people who want to keep themselves busy, combining childcare and family life with running an interesting and profitable business - such as a new ABC Magazine!
Be your own boss
Have you always dreamed of owning your own business, but have not yet dared to take the plunge? Taking on an ABC franchise means that you can have all the support and backing of an established company, yet still be your own boss. ABC Magazines Ltd, the parent company, offers a package which includes training, specialist know-how, expert support, the essential operating materials and, of course, a proven working model. You also have the assistance of a network of other franchisees, who can offer advice and guidance from their own personal experience. Taking on an ABC Magazine Franchise is an investment opportunity as well as a career, and would appeal to someone with strong ambitions and organisational skills, who is prepared to work hard.
How do I know it works?
ABC Magazine was launched in Sussex in 1996 - this year sees twelve years of successful growth to produce the bumper 272 page glossy magazine that ABC Magazine Sussex is today. We then launched a pilot franchise in Surrey during the summer of 2003. ABC Surrey is owned and managed by a local mum, who had no previous experience in publishing, yet produced her first issue - a first-class 48-page magazine - within a few months! This franchise is showing a very healthy bank balance, having gone into profit with Issue One. ABC Surrey will be part of the ABC franchise support team, and will be happy for you to contact them with your questions on their experience.
2006 saw the launch of ABC Kent, ABC Essex, ABC Dorset and ABC Berkshire - all of which have been launched by editors without any previous publishing experience but all with the ability to learn and the will to succeed.
ABC Hertfordshire launched in March 2007 and November 2007 saw the launch of ABC Hampshire, the eighth member of the ABC family.
Where are the ABC Franchise areas?

Are any established ABC Franchises available?

Do you have skills ABC could find useful?
The ABC family is expanding fast and we always need full and part-time staff to complement one or more ABC teams.
Most ABC Editors are busy mums too, so we all understand the need for full and part-time jobs with flexible hours.
Perhaps you have specialist talents, such as sales and marketing or photography for example or some area where you feel you could add value to the ABC business in some way? Or maybe you simply have a pleasant telephone manner, and good organisational and listening skills....either way, we would like to talk to you so contact us on 01273 552842, or via email on ho@abcmag.co.uk
